The kids had so much fun looking at worms in the worm tables during W week.
Everyone is having a blast with the fire engine tent brought in by the Kell family. Thank you so much! I have seen it already serve as not only a fire engine, but a parade, a tree house, a turtle shell and much more!
A favorite theme of springtime is always the metamorphosis of a caterpillar to a butterfly. All three classes are learning about this process in various ways. The two year old class had their Butterfly Parade. And the older classes are observing the actual life cycle of a butterfly. As they discussed it in class, taking turns naming the different stages of life, Hank tried to remember what stage came after caterpillar and before butterfly.... "It becomes a raccoon!" he shouted. Miss Emma sweetly corrected him with the word cocoon, and we knew that one had to go on the blog!
